Hello everyone!
I hope that you are all having fantastic weeks! I have really enjoyed this past week here in Missouri!
We
had zone conference last week and it was amazing! All of the training's
were so good and I had all of my questions answered and it strengthened
my faith so much! That is a big thing I have learned while I have been
out on a mission, faith is not a passive thing. It is an active thing
and we need to always be strengthening it or else we will lose it.

Elder Christensen and I finally found each other! Half of my zone went to zone conference in Liberty- where he is serving! (friend from Sonoran Mountain Ward and SDOHS) |
The
visitors center has been pretty busy this past week because of spring
break. We do a lot of tours with just one missionary so I don't get to
see my companion very much during shift :( But we get to cover so many
more people so that is amazing! I have had so many awesome tours, but
there was one yesterday that really stood out to me. So this woman came
in and I was talking to her and trying to figure out where would be the
best places to take her. She told me that she was recently reactivated
and she doesn't know why she came in today. She said she drove four hours
because she felt that she could be close to God here and that she could
find what she needed. But she didn't know what she needed... So on that
note, not having any idea what would help her, I took her on a tour of
all of the very spiritual things and not the history. After every
spiritual presentation she would tell me she still hasn't found what she
needs yet and that is all she would say. So I took her downstairs and
had her watch a video and while she was doing that I left the room and I
prayed to Heavenly Father to be able to know what she needs to hear and
where I need to take her. As I was walking back into the room I felt
that she needed the history tour. I thought that was weird at first
because she didn't come for the history but I knew that it would help her
because it was an answer to my pray. So I took her through the history
tour and she started to get teary eyed. I tried to ask her how she was
feeling and talk about it to help her but all she said was that she
found what she was looking for and then she left. So I am still very
confused on the whole experience but I think that it is so amazing that
even though I had no idea what was going on, Heavenly Father knows her
personally and He knows exactly what she needs and He was able to help
direct me to that. So everyone always says this but I
experienced it for myself this week.
We also had our last district meeting of
the transfer yesterday! That was sad, but it was so good! There was a
lot of awesome testimonies and trainings. And Sister Davidson and I were
the ones picked to do the role plays #scary. Our first one was pretty
good but then our second one was sooo much worse... haha so that was
interesting but I definitely learned a lot! Role playing is so so so
awkward but I always learn so much when I do it and I am always so much
more prepared to teach. We have transfers next week, so I'm scared
for that! I would love to stay in my area because I finally know the
members and love them so much, but I will go where the Lord needs me.

Missouri's weather is crazy! So
last week started out with a tornado and hail and then it warmed up to
like 70 degrees and then earlier this week it was snowing and freezing
cold!! Missouri just can't make up its mind!
