Hello! This week was such a great one!! We were able to see so many miracles and tender mercies.
- We were able to have the coolest meeting with Ben Metcalf, a guy in Salt Lake who is in charge of visitor centers. He had so many cool insights and tips for ways to improve our centers!
- The Historic Liberty Jail has been really slow lately. So, someone came in the other day and we were pretty excited! Then another family came in. Then another. Then another one!! We took 15 people in that tour! That is soooo many people for this time of year. It was such a tender mercy and it was so fun!
-
We had zone conference this week! It was all about technology. Everyone in
our mission officially has smart phones and facebook. It has been weird trying
to figure out how to use it but I’m excited!
Zone Conference
- I gave a training in zone conference on obedience. Talk about terrifying!!! But it was also really fun and everyone participated so I was able to learn a lot.
- So we were knocking doors Wednesday and we got a return appointment for Friday. Come Friday and we realize that we have zone conference and then shift right after so we had zero time. We decided to leave zone conference during lunch. We were praying that she would be there, and she was!!!! So, we taught a basic restoration and then set up a return appointment and made it back to zone conference for the picture after lunch!! It was AWESOME!
-
We had a really fun Relief Society activity on Thursday and our fav less
active that we have been working with came! That was so great! She is
progressing so much.
Secret Service
- We decided to do secret service this week. We secretly raked leaves and it was so awesome! #1sttimerakingleaves
- We went to the temple Wednesday! I
haven’t been in so long, it gave me so much peace.
Bowling with the Zone
-
Last pday our zone got our zone shirts and we went bowling! #sofun
- All of us jail sisters are having so much fun living together! We call ourselves the ZionBetaChi sorority. We went out to get donuts together the other night, then we worked out together, then we ate our donuts together! Yumm
I was reading Alma 5 this past week and my companion invited me to circle all of the question marks and ask myself all of those questions. It was one of the most amazing studies ever. It really changed my perspective on the mission, and life and on scripture study. I would like to invite all of you to do this same study!
I love you all and I seriously love
my mission so much! Have a great week!
