Week 44: New Phone and an Oreo Fiesta!

All the Jail Sisters - love them!

Okay, so many awesome things happened this week!
- Monday night we had 2 lessons and no car so we asked our mission president and his wife to be our team ups and drive us. haha that was definitely the scariest moment of my life but it was also so cool! President is so inspired and he said a lot of things that our people really needed to hear.
President and Sister Love touring our house

- President dropped us off at our house and asked to come tour it! So we run inside to the sisters to make sure they are dressed and that it is clean! And neither of those things were done so they were frantically running around the house while we distracted Pres. in the kitchen. Then he took a tour of our house and signed our loft sign! It was pretty fun!
- Then we had halloween! the best part of that was that we all got to wear fun halloween colors!
- I got to go to a mission leadership conference on Wednesday and that was basically just the coolest thing I have ever been to in my entire life. I absolutely loved it!
Mission Leadership Conference

- This is a big one..... drumroll please..... we got smartphones!!!!! It is so weird!  but it has already helped out so much, it is so great to see how technology really moves the work forward.
First pic with the new phone!

- I went on exchanges with Sister Hooley this week!!! She is so amazing, I loved being with her and learned so much from her.

This area is pretty slow right now, so we have been doing a lot of finding. But I feel like I have been really blessed as I get to see tender mercies every day that help me keep going and help me know that the Lord is watching out for me. One of those tender mercies is my companion, Sister Dawson. I just love her so much!!! She is such a good missionary and so supportive and such a fun person to be around. She is the greatest!
Me and Sister Dawson
For my spiritual thought this week I wanted to talk about faith. In Mission Leadership Conference we had the coolest training about how we need to have enough faith to think of our righteous desires as if we have already obtained them. He shared the example of Lehi. When Lehi was wandering in the desert he would always say, I have obtained the promised land. He wasn’t there yet, but he had the faith to know that the Lord would provide as he continued to build up his faith. I love this!
I love and miss you all!
