Week 28: Dinner with D.

Good morning everyone!
This week has been a great one! Everyday is adventure with Sister Welch, she has such a great attitude and makes everything so fun. It doesn't matter if we are just knocking doors or serving at the visitors' center, it is all so great! Here are a few highlights from this week:

Exchanges with Sister Lifferth

We went on exchanges yesterday! It was funny because the vcls(visitor center leaders) live in the same apartment complex as us, so it was just like a fun sleepover. Then I got to spend the next day with Sister Lifferth, and she is such a great missionary. I loved learning from her!

D. invited us to dinner this week! So we got to have dinner with her and teach her at the same time. She said she is going to come to the Book of Mormon class the zone leaders put on every week, so we are pumped for that! Her house is so cute, she loves animal prints so everything had animal prints on it. everything.

D.'s House

I took an amazing tour late last week. A couple came in, and they were both members. But they were bringing their non-member friend in because she has been dealing with a lot of pain and suffering caused by the loss of a few loved ones. So we went through God's Plan and then we went to the Christus statue. And while we were at the Christus statue, I was able to teach her about the Plan of Salvation. The Spirit was SO strong and her members friends were helping her understand everything and it was just such a powerful experience. It was such a testimony to me that the Lord loves all of His children, and He puts people in our path for a reason.

I love this article that the church put out about Teaching in the Savior's Way. I love that the church has really been pushing this program and inviting everyone to follow because as we teach like the Savior did, our teaching becomes much more powerful. It becomes more powerful because it isn't us teaching anymore. It is the Spirit bearing witness of the simple truths that we have learned because of Jesus Christ. This is so important! I would like to invite all of you to read this article and think about how you can more teach in the Savior's way. https://www.lds.org/liahona/2017/07/a-teacher-who-helps-save-souls?cid=HP_WE_12-7-2017_dPFD_fLHNA_xLIDyL1-C_&lang=eng
I love you all!
