This week was so amazing!! Life
changing really.
The highlights:
The highlights:
- R’s kids got baptized!!! These are 3 kids that I worked with for 7.5 months. They mean so much to me and it was a dream come true when they got baptized.
- Women’s conference was amazing!! I learned so much from it. If you didn’t have the chance to see it, you need to!
-
We have been having a spirit week at the jail!! We had a breakfast to kick it
off and we played the funniest game ever. We all had baby pics of ourselves and
we had to guess who was who and it was great!
Jail Sisters!
- I had exchanges with Sister Cooper!! One of the sisters I was in the MTC with. It was so much fun!
- We have been doing service for the pink house lady, and we started bringing up the gospel and she is super open to it!! We can’t wait to go back!
- Also, S. is doing amazing! She is getting baptized on Saturday and I can’t wait!
- We found the James the Mormon rap, The Restoration, on our computers this week. We have been jamming ever since!!
I love the mission!
So this week I watched a video on Mormon channel about this man who came up with a question that changed his life. The question is, will this matter in 1000 years? If it’s not going to matter, why am I wasting time with it or wasting time worrying about it. It is a bold perspective, but I love it! When we don’t focus on small things that aren’t going to matter for very long, then we can find so much more peace. And when we focus on things that will matter in the long run, like building up our faith, then we can have a better focus in life.
I love you all!!
