Week 13: Baptism, Pie, and Best Friends

Hello everyone!
This week has been so good!
We have been teaching 2 kids and we put them on date and they are getting baptized April 15th! I am so excited for them!

Then 2 other kids that we are teaching came into the visitors center for a lesson on Sunday and they ended up staying for general conference as well. I was so impressed, they listened for 4 hours! And they are really excited to come to church on Sunday, they are so awesome!
I love how many kids we teach in this area. It was definitely not something I was expecting when I came out but they are the best to teach! We get to make the lessons more fun and interactive for them.

I also had a great pday today! We got to go over to one of my favorite members houses and she taught us how to make pie de galleta. It was so good! She is an amazing cook and always feeds us awesome authentic Mexican food when we go over because she used to live in Mexico. And she always makes really spicy food so it is so fun to try!

We also got to go to Costco with one of our favorite senior couples, the Wilsons! I love all of the senior couple missionaries here, they are so much fun and always have the best stories and life advice! It’s pretty funny because they are some of our best friends out here even though they are old enough to be our grandparents.

The mission is so wonderful and I am so grateful every day to be serving my Savior and Father in Heaven. I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Much love,
Sister Cammack
