Week 5: Made it to Missouri!

Last week I got to go to Temple Square as kind of the last part in Visitors' Center training. It was so awesome! We got a new companion for the day (who was a Temple Square VC Sister) and we went around and taught people and got to be VC sisters there for a day. I loved it! My companion was Sister Williams from Japan. We went around and taught people that we saw and talked to them and played the Christus message a lot and we did online teaching and I got to see where the VC sisters eat and keep their stuff and take breaks and that was really cool. It was fun being able to teach people in the VC because there was so many people and they all wanted to be there so they were all nice. I met people from Colombia, England and Australia. 

Provo Temple

I’m in Missouri now! I am so excited to be here! I got here yesterday and we spent all yesterday touring the mission and the Visitors Center and Liberty Jail. The assistants to the president drove us in a huge van and we all went to the temple and took a picture.  Then we spent the night at the mission home, which is the cutest old person house ever. I met my companion this morning! Her name is Sister Davidson and she is so sweet and doesn’t mind my 1000 questions I ask.  I am so excited for her to be my trainer. I’m so lucky because today is our p-day so I’ve had some time to unpack and go grocery shopping. We live in the cutest yellow house, and we live here with another companionship. This house is called the doll house because it’s so adorable like a doll house. I will be serving in the Independence 3rd Ward and the Visitors’ Center this transfer.
